It happened before, it will happen again.

I was shaken off my habits. I was taken aback, and had to adapt. It made me grow up. It made me wiser, and stronger…

…or something like that.

Travelling in an unusual format, with a pace never experienced before, was an opening on other dynamics of society.

I used to go somewhere to visit someone. I used to stay and create local habits, sitting in the same café every day for a week or two before taking my first pictures.

But travelling in a slow pace, with not more than one day in each place opened up another form of encounters and another rhythm in taking pictures.

Surprisingly putting ourselves in the heart of each place and its local intrigues. Pushing us to have another type of interaction, not less accurate, and not less relevant.

So, yes, I can say I was surprised to discover there is always « another way » to do things, to meet people, to learn and to share.

It happened before, it will happen again. Luckily.
